Budgerigar
(Melopsittacus undulatus)

The Budgerigar  is one of the most popular cage birds in the world and over the years has been bred in many different colours. The bird in our design illustrates the wild form. In the wild, the Budgerigar is found in Australia and can be encountered in most arid habitats away from the coast. It tends to be nomadic and is found in very large flocks.
