Red Kite |

In the UK the Red Kite has until
recently been confined to a small breeding population in Wales, but thanks
to several reintroduction schemes in England and Scotland the chances of
seeing one of these elegant birds of prey has greatly increased. Elsewhere
in Europe the Red Kite is uncommon and local.
