Robin
(Erithacus rubecula)

 

The Robin  is a familiar sight in most parks and gardens throughout the UK and is probably the country's most popular bird. It is present throughout the year but can become rather secretive during the breeding season only giving away its presence with its distinctive ‘tic-tic’ call.
