Shoveler (Northern)
(Anas clypeata)

 

The  Shoveler is unmistakable with its huge spatula shaped bill which it uses to filter out small items of food at the surface of the water. It is found commonly throughout Northern Europe, Russia and North America usually occurring in small parties.
